Academic Integrity

The Office of the Provost and Executive Vice President is deeply committed to upholding principles of academic integrity throughout the university community, understanding that all knowledge is built on the foundation of truth.    Academic integrity is particularly important as George Mason University—and the world in general—moves more and more towards collaborative work in which all participants must be able to trust each other’s commitment to honesty.

Detailed information on George Mason University’s Honor Code for students can be found at the university’s Office for Academic Integrity site.

Information for faculty and researchers is available on the university’s general Research Policies site and through the Office of Research Integrity & Assurance.
