The Leadership Legacy Program provides formal coaching to selected faculty and staff to explore what leadership means in the context of a university setting, and how individuals can best meet challenges, manage change, and work effectively in a changing university environment.
Individual academic departments may have formal or informal practices for providing opportunities for mentoring by a senior faculty member. However, some faculty also wish to work with a mentor from a different department in order to obtain a different perspective. The Stearns Center for Teaching and Learning can assist departments in creating mentoring programs for individual faculty who which to be mentored.
