Recognizes both a faculty and a staff member whose efforts support quality online course offerings for the university.

Criteria
Application or Nomination Criteria
To make a nomination, submit a Nominations Form and a brief narrative describing the achievements of the nominee and how he or she meets the following criteria:
• Efforts promote interactivity in online courses between the students and instructor
• Course design is consistent, innovative, and appropriately enhances content
• Information regarding technology for the course is clearly stated
• Nominee must be faculty, administrative faculty, or support staff member with at least one year of continuous service in distance education at George Mason University.

Evaluation Criteria
Nominations will be evaluated based on evidence of outstanding work in the categories of interactivity, course design, technology, and assessment.

Composition of Review Team
Nominations will be reviewed by a Selection Committee composed of employees from various departments.
