PART III: Project Details

A. Project Description (Maximum 350 words)
Briefly describe the project for which you are applying for funding. Please provide the rationale for this project, making sure to speak to the questions and/or issues that the project will address, its novelty, and current limitations. Articulate the intended benefits and anticipated impact of your project proposal, both internal and external to Mason. Address, if successful, how the project might self-sustain. How will the results of the proposal be disseminated on campus and beyond?

C. Proposal Narrative

Provide a clear description of the specific aims of the project and a plan of implementation that describes how these aims will be accomplished. Describe how the activities of individuals/teams will be coordinated to achieve the outcome measures described in the subsequent section. Be clear on how funding of the proposal will help advance the institution in terms of external competitiveness and national/international prominence.

D. Anticipated milestones and outcomes (Maximum 500 words)
Describe the anticipated outcomes of the proposal and milestones that will be used to measure success of this investment in mid-year and at the end of the funded year. A clear statement regarding institutional return on investment must be included, as well as a discussion on potential risks and payoffs.

E. If applicable, describe current or prior collaborations among team members that have led to successful outcomes (Maximum 250 words)
