The Student Experience Redesign Project is a Mason initiative aimed at modernizing and improving the Mason student experience. Optimizing our student experience offers potential benefits for increasing student retention and graduation rates and creating a deeper sense of belonging for our students.


Last winter, representatives from across the university began a collaborative process to define the ideal student experience, analyze the current Mason environment and identify service gaps and issues. Staff, faculty and students have provided valuable input during the initial stages of the project. The project has now moved into the evaluation phase. After five months of intensive research, interviews and data analysis, the Student Experience Redesign Project shared its findings at a town hall on October 20 and initiated a university-wide conversation. Defining and creating the Ideal Mason Student Experience will require input and ideas from the entire Mason community. Please fill out the survey below to join in the conversation.
