More than 10,000 students, faculty, and staff have taken the 20-minute assessment, which will help you identify and develop your skills and talents.
College is centered around academics, but no one spends all their time in class. There's a lot going on at Mason, and University Life is at the center of it.
We provide support from orientation through graduation, preparing students for the life they'll lead when they earn their degrees. The University Life division has 29 offices, more than 350 professional staff, and more than 1,300 student staff.
Our primary areas of focus include:
- Careers. Leadership and work experience opportunities are available through student government and student organizations, and through such positions as orientation leader or resident advisor. University Career Services connects faculty, staff, alumni, and employers to help students prepare for careers.
- Civic Learning, Community Engagement. Programs such as the Leadership Mason Conference develop engaged citizens and leaders.
- Global, Multicultural Competency. Students can become more globally and multiculturally aware, engaged and competent by participating in a range of groups and programs.
- Health and Well-Being. Our goal is to be a university at which students, faculty, and staff build a life of vitality, purpose, and resilience.
University Life is also responsible for enforcing student conduct and honor code expectations.
