Mason International Collaborative

Overview

George Mason University joined a two-year initiative cohort of the American Council on Education (ACE) Internationalization Laboratory in August 2019 to review and improve its internationalization programs and efforts.

Six committees make up the Mason team: curriculum, faculty development, student and campus life, enrollment, education abroad and research. The committees, which include faculty and staff, are responsible for carrying out a review of the current state of internationalization at Mason and help designate priorities for internationalization and propose a plan to advance them. Additionally, they will be asked to help frame the conversation on internationalization for the Mason community.

Mason will receive guidance from ACE Internationalization Lab experts. More information on the ACE International Lab can be located here.
