Student Experience Redesign Town Hall (October 2019) 

On October 30th 2019, The Office of the Provost held a follow up to the original Student Experience Redesign Town Hall that took place in June earlier that year. This follow up town hall discussed the initiative’s progress, implementation plans, activities currently underway, and the upcoming changes for Spring 2020.  Members of the SER Executive Team and Implementation Leads provided the latest updates on: how we are enhancing our current technologies to better support the student experience, expanding and improving the way we initiate students during their first year at Mason, and continuing to serve students holistically. Below is a recording of the Provost's Welcome and the opening presentation from the SER Executive Team. After the Executive presentation, guests were directed to the Johnson Center  3rd floor to hear about each project individually. Student Experience Redesign Town Hall (June 2019) 

On June 19th, 2019, George Mason University’s Office of the  Provost held a town hall to discuss the university-wide initiative of The Student Experience Redesign. Speakers included Provost Dr. David Wu, David Burge, Vice President of Enrollment Management and project leads that span the initiative including offices such as University Life, Information Technology Services, Enrollment Management, Undergraduate Education and New Student Family Programs —all to discuss the initiative, its components, and its intended outcomes.
